We are a team of passionate Australian gamers and journalists dedicated to honest, in-depth coverage of the games and tournaments that matter.

Australia's Gaming Voice

VertexQuest was founded in 2019 by a group of Sydney-based gaming enthusiasts who were frustrated by the lack of Australian-focused game coverage. Too many reviews were written from a Northern Hemisphere perspective, ignoring the unique context of Australian gaming — from server latency issues to local esports ecosystems.

We set out to change that. Today, VertexQuest is one of Australia's most-read independent gaming publications, with over 45,000 monthly readers and a dedicated team of reviewers, tournament correspondents, and community managers spread across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.

Our editorial policy is simple: we play every game we review, we attend every tournament we cover, and we never let advertising influence our scores. Our readers trust us because we are honest, even when honesty is uncomfortable.
